Pontiac apparently is begginning to understand the potential for an advertising campaign online with their campaign for the G5. One describes how Ford in Austrailia…is quadrupling their online ad budget and the other touches on the effectiveness of podcasting. We have always felt that blog marketing and podcasting is a perfect combination for car dealers. At Every Level the auto industry can benefit greatly from an aggressive retail blog marketing campaign.

Auto Makers should use blogs as PR or distribution reaching bloggers and blog engines many of whom are not reaching.
Dealerships authorized and even the local used car dealers should be using blogs, to boost visibility and with podcasting they can inexpensively show off all their cars…much better for a shopper researching online than something like auto trader.
