Conversions Increase With Blog Marketing
I saw an interesting aricle on Business wire regarding a Yahoo study comparing consumer response to paid and organic search listings.
Not surprisingly, it turns out that consumers who were exposed to both forms of search results were more likely to spend more time, view more pages and buy more product. The differences were quite pronounced. The stats showed a 68% increase in page views and a 66% increase in time spent on websites that had both paid and organic rankings as opposed to competitor sites that just had one or the other. The staggering difference though, is in the conversions into sales. Sites that had both rankings out outperformed single ranking sites by 244% online and 89% offline.
So if you want high conversions and a good customer response to your site, don’t discontinue your paid search campaign, just make sure you have organic rankings. And the best way to do that is with blog marketing. That way you can also get your blog positioned in the natural search, squeeze out the competition and see unheard of conversions into sales.
