Retail Blogs Deliver Your Marketing Message Quicker Than Press Releases
One of the trends I have noticed within the ailing SEO is industry is the practice of using press releases to promote a website. Marketing firms will encourage clients to write about their company in order to generate interest from the search engines. While this is a step in the right direction, a press release is nowhere near as effective as an article in a retail blog.
The issue is speed. We set up our retail blog marketing campaigns, so that the instant a client writes an article, the search engines are informed. Spiders are in the website within hours, looking for content. I had a client decline my service the other day, because he wanted to run an seo campaign.
